Mrs. Rosa Cormier of Villa Providence, Shediac (formerly of Memramcook East) passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 1998 at the Villa Providence.
Born February 5, 1927 in Memramcook East, NB, she was the daughter of the late Cyrille Belliveau and the late Sylvie LeBlanc. A housewife, she attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East.
She is survived by her husband Alyre Cormier; six daughters, Sylvia (Donald) Léger, St-Anselme, Rose-Marie LeBlanc, Riverview, Irène (Donald) LeBlanc, Dover, Fox Creek, Diane (Yvon) Harel, Belliveau Village, Suzanne Cormier, Memramcook East, Rachel (Normand) Boudreau, Old Shediac Road; four sons, Léo Cormier, St-Antonin, Québec, Roméo (Eliza) Cormier, Memramcook East, Gérard (Odette) Cormier, Memramcook East, Bernard (Jeanne) Cormier, St-Joseph; three sisters, Clarita Roach, Ranham, MA, Bibienne Léger, Ludlow, MA., Lina Cormier, Prince George, BC; four brothers, Julien (Délia) Belliveau, Moncton, Anselme Belliveau, Rendfrew, ON, Joseph (Roberte) Belliveau, Ludlow, MA, Francis (Marie) Belliveau, Memramcook East; 22 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cormier was predeceased by one sister, Ozite.
Remains resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook, NB, with visiting hours Thursday, January 29, 1998 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, January 30, 1998 from 2 until 6.30 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, January 30, 1998 at 7 p.m. at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East, NB, with Father Denis Belliveau officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
